Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Chicago, IL
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00

Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely operating and maintaining filling tubes with product to ensure efficient production and quality output. This role includes monitoring machine performance, performing routine checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain filling machines, pumps, and mixers to optimize production output
  • Monitor product fill levels at startup and perform checks every 30 minutes
  • Perform machine setup including installing cap nests and loading tube and plunger hoppers
  • Ensure proper valve alignment to prevent product misdirection, overfill, or spills
  • Maintain continuous operation of the production line and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine housekeeping and clean equipment at end of shift
  • Monitor downstream equipment (packers/stackers) for issues
  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures when servicing equipment
  • Communicate any mechanical issues or air pressure drops to maintenance immediately
  • Follow all PPE and safety requirements at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements:
  • 6 months in warehouse manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in machine operation and maintenance
  • Ability to understand and operate pumps, mixers, and safety switches
  • Knowledge of proper PPE usage and safe lifting techniques
  • Ability to work in a production environment with moving machinery and forklifts
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed throughout shift
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
