Over de functie

Als Centrale Telefonie-arts (CT-arts) ben jij het eerste medische aanspreekpunt voor verzorgenden en verpleegkundigen in Nederlandse verpleeghuizen. Je beantwoordt telefonisch hulpvragen, denkt mee over beleid en bepaalt of een fysieke beoordeling nodig is. In dat geval draag je het consult over aan een collega-visite-arts die ter plaatse gaat.

Omdat jij je bevindt in een andere tijdzone (bijvoorbeeld in Azië, Amerika of Oceanië), kun je overdag werken terwijl het in Nederland nacht is. Zo maak jij het verschil in de nachtzorg – en zorgen we samen dat collega’s in Nederland alleen wakker gebeld worden als fysieke inzet nodig is.

Je werkt volledig op afstand, maar staat er nooit alleen voor. Je wordt gekoppeld aan een achterwacht: een specialist ouderengeneeskunde in dienst van GeriCall. Via ons platform GeriForce zie je live waar visite-artsen zich bevinden, krijg je toegang tot richtlijnen, beslisbomen en templates, en kun je gemakkelijk rapporteren.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je brengt de hulpvraag van de zorgmedewerker in kaart en zet telefonisch passende zorg in.
  • Is fysieke beoordeling nodig? Dan draag je het consult over aan collega’s in de regio.
  • Je overlegt met je achterwacht, medisch specialisten of de Meldkamer Ambulancezorg.
  • Je registreert zorgvuldig in het elektronisch cliëntendossier en in GeriForce – je rapportages zijn duidelijk, bondig en navolgbaar.
  • Je draagt bij aan de continuïteit en duurzaamheid van zorg voor kwetsbare ouderen.

Wie zoeken wij?
  • Een BIG-geregistreerd arts (huisarts, ANIOS, AIOS, specialist ouderengeneeskunde, klinisch geriater)
  • Minimaal 2 jaar klinische ervaring, bij voorkeur in de ouderenzorg, SEH of huisartsgeneeskunde
  • Woonachtig of tijdelijk verblijvend in een land met minimaal 7 uur tijdsverschil met Nederland, zoals:
  • Indonesië, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodja, Singapore, Maleisië, China, Taiwan, Japan, Zuid-Korea, Australië of Nieuw-Zeeland
  • Zelfstandig, besluitvaardig en communicatief sterk
  • Affiniteit met ouderenzorg en veilig medisch handelen op afstand
  • Digitaal vaardig en zorgvuldig in dossiervoering
