In addition, the Associate Principal will lead business development efforts in the region. </p> <p> </p> <p>The position requires that the candidate actively participates in the project delivery process for several projects at the same time while ensuring efficiency, accuracy and top-quality work is being delivered to our clients. </p> <p> </p> <p>This is a remote (Work From Home) position, and we welcome candidates located in major metropolitan markets across the U.S.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Act as the executive-level point of contact for the NV5 team, the Owner, Architect and other design team members</li> <li>Lead project design teams, bringing a forward-thinking perspective to technology plans and strategic discussions</li> <li>Drive business development within a specific geographic area or vertical market sector</li> <li>Write proposals and negotiate final scope and fee agreements with clients</li> <li>Write strategic technology plans, programs and other project communication</li> <li>Lead programmatic discussions with our clients to determine project goals and requirements</li> <li>Collaborate with other NV5 team members to guide clients through the technology selection process; devise cost-effective audio/video solutions specifically optimized for the user</li> <li>Play the role of Principal in Charge of multi-disciplinary projects that may include AV, IT, Security, Lighting and Acoustics</li> <li>Oversee the creation of technology drawings with Architects, Engineers and other design team members</li> <li>Oversee various teams in the completion of drawings, specifications, coordination meetings, project submittals and punch-list visits</li> <li>Ensure that all work is completed on-time, in-budget, and consistently within NV5’s high standards of quality</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Minimum of ten years of experience in the Audiovisual field; three years of experience with independent technology consulting is preferred</li> <li>Extensive knowledge in the design, deployment and use of audiovisual systems, including: projection and display; sound and speech reinforcement; audio and video conferencing; signal processing, signal distribution and routing; control systems</li> <li>General knowledge of audiovisual architectural requirements including but not limited to: sightline studies; structural support requirements; cabling pathways; architectural integration of audiovisual equipment</li> <li>General knowledge of Information Technology (IT) services and digital media delivery technologies, network hardware, infrastructure and system architecture</li> <li>Experience in business development for professional services</li> <li>Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written</li> <li>Values that include integrity, accountability and a desire to have fun while delivering Best-in-Class services</li> <li>Professional and positive attitude in a fast paced and occasionally high-pressure environment</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BlueBeam</li> <li>CTS certification required</li> <li>PLUSES: CTS-D, CTS-I, RCDD or additional industry related certifications</li> </ul> <p>All candidates must be driven to satisfy the needs of end users and have the ability to deliver high caliber end results in a timely manner while operating without direct supervision.
