You can learn more about our Company, Culture, and Values here https//www.evercommerce.com/about-us/careers/ About the Role EverCommerce Payment Solutions is seeking a Data Business Analysts to help shape, prioritize, and deliver the analytics and reporting solutions that power decision-making across our Payments organization. This role serves as the connective tissue between our data, analytics, and business teams — managing the reporting backlog, translating complex business requirements into clear technical deliverables, and ensuring the timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of insights. The Data Product Owner will work closely with analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define reporting needs, manage intake and prioritization, QA critical data outputs, and support ongoing delivery of reports and dashboards that drive clarity and alignment across our Payments business. Responsibilities • Own and manage the analytics and reporting backlog — capturing requests, defining requirements, and prioritizing based on business value and urgency. • Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria. • Facilitate sprint planning, grooming, and delivery processes for the Payments Data & Analytics team. • Conduct QA and validation of reports, dashboards, and data sets before distribution to ensure accuracy and trust in reporting. • Support the delivery of manual or ad-hoc reports while automation and dashboards are being developed. • Collaborate with analysts and engineers to ensure the data model and reporting pipelines support evolving business needs. • Maintain documentation for key reports, metrics definitions, and data sources to drive consistency and alignment across teams. • Serve as a liaison between Payments leadership, Finance, Product, and GTM teams — ensuring reporting supports critical strategic initiatives and KPIs. • Identify opportunities to improve analytics processes, automate manual reporting, and reduce turnaround time. • Support change management and communication when new reports or metrics are released. Skills and Experience Needed for Success • 5–7 years of experience in analytics, business analysis, or product roles — preferably in SaaS, fintech, or payments. • Proven experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and managing backlogs for reporting or analytics products. • Strong understanding of data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau. • Working knowledge of SQL or familiarity with querying datasets to validate outputs. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and consistency. • Strong communication and facilitation skills — able to translate business needs into technical terms and vice versa. • Experience working in agile environments, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery. • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and projects. • Comfortable bridging the gap between technical data teams and non-technical business users. • Passion for data quality, storytelling, and building scalable, reliable reporting solutions. Where This is a remote, U.S.-based position with some travel required for quarterly team events and on-site partner meetings. The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with employees across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia.
