About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Branch to lead our Thomson Fertility Puchong facility. As Head of Branch, the incumbent is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the Thomson Fertility Centre. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred reproductive healthcare services while driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth.

Acting as the primary liaison between corporate leadership and the branch, the Head of Branch leads multidisciplinary teams, manages resources, upholds regulatory and clinical standards, and ensures the highest levels of patient satisfaction. This is a key leadership position that combines strong healthcare management with a deep understanding of fertility services.

What you'll be doing

1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
  • Drive the execution of Thomson Fertility’s strategic goals and initiatives at the branch level.
  • Translate corporate objectives into branch-level plans with measurable targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement targeted campaigns that drive new patient acquisition, increase brand visibility, and promote services offered by the clinic.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to expand the clinic’s referral base.
  • Ensure branch operations align with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
2. Operations & Workforce Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency across clinical, nursing, administrative, and support services.
  • Ensure the clinic meets or exceeds monthly and annual revenue targets through effective planning, resource optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Track and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Monitor clinic expenditure and resource utilization, promoting cost-effective strategies.
  • Ensure effective utilization of resources, including budget management, equipment, and facilities.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, clinical protocols, and internal SOPs, and take corrective actions as needed to meet objectives.
  • Implement systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), patient outcomes, and service efficiency.
  • In charge of housekeeping and maintenance supervision, including monitoring vendor performance and ensuring service delivery meets organizational standards and expectations.
3. Resource & Inventory Management
  • Ensure adequate and timely availability of medications, consumables, lab supplies, and medical equipment required for treatments and procedures.
  • Monitor usage trends and stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Collaborate with procurement, pharmacy, and finance teams to manage ordering, budgeting, and inventory audits.
  • Implement stock control systems to enhance accountability and reduce wastage.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance programs to uphold high standards in operational and clinical service delivery.
  • Coordinate internal audits, inspections, and quality assessments across departments.
  • Ensure all internal and external audit findings are addressed and closed within the stipulated timelines, with continuous follow-up and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement across the branch.
5. Clinical Governance (in coordination with Medical Director, Chief Embryologist and Nurse Manager)
  • Work collaboratively with the Medical Director, Chief Embryologist and Nurse Manager to ensure clinical practices adhere to evidence-based protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Support the integration of clinical governance frameworks that safeguard patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and risk management.
  • Participate in clinical review meetings, patient case discussions, and incident investigations where appropriate.
  • Assist in implementing clinical policies and protocols as directed by clinical leadership.

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a multidisciplinary team including clinical and non-clinical staff.
