Remote<br/><br/>Opportunity.<br/><br/>Exciting and Challenging Opportunity for a dynamic professional who seeks to build on their existing DT<br/><br/>and business experience through in-depth exposure to a fast-paced international business.<br/><br/>The Internal Audit function is developmental in nature, and employees are assisted in furthering career<br/><br/>goals through training & development, strategic networking opportunities and either progression within our<br/><br/>team or rotation into critical business segment roles, after tenure within the group.<br/><br/>This group is seen as a premiere entry point into the business segments within the company.<br/><br/>In this role you will perform reviews of critical DT and cybersecurity processes, evaluating effectiveness of internal controls and identifying potential process improvement opportunities.<br/><br/>The RTX Internal Audit DT team conducts risk-based audits as well as value-add special projects and consultations for the business functions within the RTX family of companies.<br/><br/><b>What You Will Do</b><br/><ul><li>Assessing DT and cybersecurity processes and procedures in order to determine the reliability and effectiveness of existing control systems.</li><li>Assist in providing assurance that appropriate risk mitigation is taken by management.</li><li>Assist in providing management with independent and objective reports, evaluations, appraisals, counsel, and recommendations.</li><li>In addition to performing risk-based audits, this position will lead the effort to automate controls testing and refine existing work instructions</li><li>Participate in completing risk-based audits on assigned engagements.</li><li>May manage projects or processes and coach and review work of staff team members.</li><li>Assess risk of key business processes resulting in the preparation of audit plans and specific audit programs.</li><li>Create process maps of significant DT, cybersecurity, financial, business and operational processes in order to identify potential internal control weaknesses and recommend opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Assist in preparing clear, concise audit reports.</li><li>Present audit conclusions and recommendations to senior management.</li><li>Develop new automated testing procedures using internal tools such as Tanium, Verdant, ServiceNow, and Ansible.</li><li>Create new work programs for emerging areas of Digital Technology such as Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).</li><li>Assist in efforts to modernize existing work programs to include automated testing</li><li>Continuous self-improvement including the addition of technical skills, as needed, based on department needs.</li><li>Travel to company locations as necessary (in the potential range of 5% - 30%).</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Qualifications You Must Have</b><br/><ul><li>Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience</li><li>Experience Advanced Microsoft Office applications and Excel skills.</li><li>Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Qualifications We Prefer</b><br/><ul><li>Experience writing scripts for Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Servers and PCs, Unix operating systems, and Visual Basic for Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Experience using Tanium, Verdant, Archer GRC, and ServiceNow.</li><li>Experience with public accounting, internal audit, government accounting, or project management work with exposure to a manufacturing environment; company; server audits.</li><li>Knowledge of SOX, NIST, COBIT, COSO and other frameworks.</li></ul><br/><br/>Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
