This role is ideal for an experienced consultant who thrives at the intersection of healthcare strategy, policy, business insights, and execution, and who can step onto live client engagements quickly, owning delivery across a broad mix of provider-focused work. You will partner with senior leaders to advise physician groups, health systems, post-acute and long-term care organizations, PACE programs, and aging-services innovators on the strategic and operational implications of Medicare, Medicaid, and value-based care programs and payment reform. </p> <p> </p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <h3><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-charstyle="Strong">Lead Client Engagements</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{" 134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"=""> </span></h3> <ul> <li>Own day-to-day delivery across multiple provider engagements, managing scopes, timelines, workplans, deliverables, and client communications. </li> <li>Translate complex policy, reimbursement, and business model information into clear business impacts and actionable recommendations for provider executives, boards, and operating teams. </li> <li>Produce polished, client-ready deliverables (strategic plans, policy briefs, market assessments, financial models, and compelling PowerPoint presentations and written materials) that turn complex analysis into compelling narratives and visuals. </li> <li>Present findings and recommendations directly to clients; facilitate working sessions and workshops with provider leadership. </li> <li>Ramp quickly onto new engagements with limited oversight, bringing structure, pace, and ownership to ambiguous problems from day one. </li> </ul> <h3><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-charstyle="Strong">Drive Analysis & Provider Insight</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{" 134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"=""> </span></h3> <ul> <li>Analyze legislation, regulations, and payment policy (e.g., Medicare payment rules, PACE, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid LTSS, value-based payment, provider payment reform) and assess business insights, financial impact, and other strategic and operational implications for provider clients. </li> <li>Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative research, including market scans, competitive landscape analyses, financial modeling, business case development, and strategic growth planning. </li> <li>Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into strategic insights; develop analytic frameworks and shells, identify trends, conduct data analysis, and draw signals from large healthcare datasets where applicable (Medicare claims, Medicaid data, encounter data, CMS public use files, EHR/clinical data). </li> <li>Monitor ongoing market, regulatory, and policy developments to keep client recommendations timely and relevant. </li> </ul> <h3><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-charstyle="Strong">Support Business Development & Grow the Practice</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{" 134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"=""> </span></h3> <ul> <li>Contribute to proposals, scoping conversations, and pursuit of work for new provider engagements, helping convert pipeline into sold work. </li> <li>Shape ATI's thought leadership through external publications, conference presentations, and commentary on provider strategy, policy, and market trends. </li> <li>Identify replicable methodologies and assets from delivery work that can be built into reusable practice IP. </li> <li>Mentor and develop analysts and junior team members; model strong consulting craft, structured problem-solving, and quality standards. </li> </ul> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h2> <ul> <li>3 to 7 years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, government healthcare programs, corporate strategy, or healthcare provider/value-based care organizations, with demonstrated growth into engagement leadership. </li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in healthcare, with depth in one or more of the following: Traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage, value-based care, PACE, complex care, long-term care, or provider strategy/operations. </li> <li>Strong consulting craft, including structured problem-solving, hypothesis-driven analysis, polished written and visual communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with pace and rigor. </li> <li>Proven ability to perform market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, business case development, and strategic growth planning. </li> <li>Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; comfortable working with data, developing models, and interpreting insights. </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and present confidently to senior executives and clients. </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead tasks, design and execute projects end-to-end, manage up and down effectively, and mentor junior team members. </li> <li>High level of professional maturity, initiative, resourcefulness, and ownership; ability to come up quickly on unfamiliar topics; and willingness to pitch in and contribute meaningfully from the start. </li> <li>Bachelor's degree required.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Management consulting background at a top-tier firm with experience managing multiple concurrent client projects in a fast-paced environment or equivalent experience in government healthcare programs. </li> <li>Direct experience working for, with, or alongside healthcare providers (hospitals, physician groups, post-acute and long-term care, PACE, aging-services organizations) on strategic, operational, or value-based payment initiatives. </li> <li>Direct exposure to value-based care models, managed care operations, technology and solution partners/vendors, drug reimbursement and pricing policy, or financial services intersecting with healthcare. </li> <li>Experience working with large healthcare datasets, including cleaning, managing, and analyzing complex sources. </li> <li>Technology strategy, including business and technical requirements gathering, gap analysis, system selection, and implementation. </li> <li>MBA or other advanced degree in a business-oriented discipline (Management-focused MPH, MPA/MPP, MHA, MS in Health Administration, economics, or related field). </li> </ul> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>Why ATI</strong></h2> <p>At ATI Advisory, you will do meaningful work that shapes the future of healthcare.
