Role:

We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to support our communication, branding, and outreach activities. This internship is suitable for students or recent graduates interested in marketing, social impact communication, content creation, and digital engagement.

Job Description:

  • Assist in planning, writing, and managing social media presence, including daily monitoring, posting, scheduling, and reporting updates.
  • Produce copy for collateral that is clear, engaging, and reflective of the organisation's voice.
  • Support collateral conceptualisation and creativity based on given requirements or direction.
  • Assist in social media and marketing collateral production, with a specific focus on graphic design (e.g., creating social media posters/ads and short videos).
  • Provide input for creative marketing strategies and social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the team on new ideas, directions, and tools for marketing and communications.
  • Design event/program fliers, graphics, and other marketing material.
  • Create online advertisements as needed.
Selection Criteria:
  1. Interest in strategic communications, and a strong willingness to learn and explore new things.
  2. Strong knowledge and skills in using creative tools to produce engaging collateral, and in editing and graphic design, are a plus.
  3. Able to express voice and ideas for organisation and team growth.
  4. Able to ideate and brainstorm independently and within the team, and swift to deliver good quality work.
  5. Being able to use feedback to improve outcomes is a plus point.
  6. Eye for detail with the ability to proofread and edit accordingly.
  7. Good command of English, Bahasa Melayu, and/or any other additional language.
  8. Passionate about creative writing
  9. Possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Able to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
*Interns are expected to assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned and/or required.
