<h1>Career Opportunity</h1><h2>Role Title</h2>National Sales Specialist<h2>Purpose of role</h2>As a National Sales Specialist, you will be one of the driving forces behind the growth of Foresters Financials’ Life and Annuity business. Partnering with our National Sales Managers, this role would be responsible for delivering training, field development, and sales support that turn distributor and agent relationships into measurable results across multiple distribution channels. This is a high visibility, travel-forward role for a relationship builder who thrives on driving sales impact.<h2>Job Description</h2><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><span>Partner</span> with the National Sales Managers to build and grow profitable relationships with distributors and their agents</li><li><span>Execute</span> field requests for face-to-face training, webinars, in-agency training, and onboarding</li><li><span>Develop and execute</span> call campaigns-including proactive outbound sales calls, to promote and position Foresters Financial products and member benefits, to distributors and their appointed agents</li><li><span>Create and deliver compelling sales presentations</span> that showcase Foresters Financial life and annuity products, services, and competitive advantages</li><li>Identify training needs and gaps across assigned distribution, then <span>develop</span> tailored solutions to close them</li><li>Report progress on sales support activity and marketing campaigns, to Nationals Sales Manager and direct Manager</li><li>Respond to incoming inquiries on Forester’s Financial life and annuity products, illustrations, the agent portal and marketing materials</li><li>Represent Foresters Financial professionally across all internal/external interactions-verbal, written communication, and at events</li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2>Key Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Prior Life and Annuity sales experience in financial services, with a strong knowledge of industry products preferred</li><li>Active Life & Annuity license preferred but not required</li><li>Wholesaling or field development experience supporting distributors, agents or advisors preferred</li><li><span>Willingness and ability to travel</span></li><li>Proven sales ability with strong telephone and relationship building skills</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; active listening and the ability to influence</li><li>Self-motivated to manage workload, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet or exceed goals in a team environment</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective listening skills; proven ability to influence</li><li>Advanced computer skills: multi-screen navigation, multi-tasking, accurate keyboarding skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products</li><li>Results-oriented focus with a strong work ethic, and collaborative attitude</li><li>Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills</li><li><span>Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, based on business needs</span></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-Remote</p><ul><li>An estimated minimum of 50-<span>75%</span> travel is expected to support distributor relationships, and training opportunities, to assist in attaining the Foresters' US objectives and sales goals</li></ul><p>The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.
