  • LOCATION:
    • Chantilly, VA
  • POSITION STATUS:
    • This position is PART-TIME, hourly
    • Work hours will be OVERNIGHT 9:30 PM - 5:30 AM, including weekends and holidays
  • PAY RATE:
    • $21.00/hr.
    • Weekly Pay – every Friday
  • REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
    • At least one full year of aircraft/boat/vehicle detailing experience is required..
  • HIGHLY PREFERRED (not required):
    • A valid driver's license for at least 1 full year, with clear driving record.
    • Previous airfield driving experience.
  • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
    • Manually scrub, scrape, detail, wash and wax the outside of an aircraft while working from the ground or an aerial lift. Place chemical in mop buckets, and apply to aircraft, use aerial lifts to clean the aircraft fuselage, wings, and tail.
    • Clean up the workspace following each service.
    • Practice safe work methods and perform other related duties as requested.
    • Follow all company policies and procedures.
    • Be physically present at work on all scheduled days/times to meet workload productivity standards.
  • MUST-HAVES:
    • Language skills: Proficient English required.
    • Able to take direction from supervisory staff.
    • Able to follow airline-specific guidelines with tasks pertaining to the seat care management process.
    • Safety conscious work approach is required.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be physically capable to execute the duties of this labor-intensive position.
    • Must be comfortable with heights up to 60 ft. to work on an aerial lift for extended periods.
    • Other constant movements: Climbing, Reaching, Repetitive movement, Squatting/kneeling, Standing, Walking, Overhead pushing/pulling, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
    • Required: Airport security badge - must be able to attain an airport security badge during the hiring process and maintain an active badge for the duration of employment, without lapse at any time.
    • Attaining an airport security badge is an essential function of this position, you will be required to go through the airport's process to obtain an airport security badge, which allows you access to all areas in which Flightline Support Group LLC operates. This is an airport requirement for you to access the airfield where all work is completed.
