The role involves providing technical support, life cycle management, and mentoring junior staff, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and compliance with service level agreements. Responsibilities Provide complete ownership and accountability of all responsibilities assigned regarding 1111 System’s cloud and disaster recovery and systems servers Provide Technical support with a high degree of customer satisfaction by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance Responsible for provisioning, environmental management, alert monitoring, and trouble resolution Provide an escalation point for customer problems, as well as junior level 1111 Systems staff Provide training and mentoring to junior level 1111 Systems staff regarding day-to-day operations and technical issues Assist in creation, updating and maintaining existing 1111 Systems server and compute Infrastructure documentation, according to current standards Provide accurate, timely and professional responses to escalated customer tickets from support, ensuring a good customer experience Collaborate with other cross functional teams within the organization to shape the future roadmap of server product offerings Participate in Disaster Recovery test support Provide escalation support for Level 1-3 engineers Follow 1111 Systems best practices for server management Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 1111’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements Additional duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's or University degree in technical discipline or equivalent years of work experience required 3-5+ years of demonstrated technical, hands-on experience with Open Systems servers required Certifications as required or requested Expert level knowledge of VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF) Extensive Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems knowledge and operating system management required Extensive knowledge and experience managing servers and server infrastructure required Extensive knowledge and experience using server management tools (iLo, vCenter, HMC) required Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking required Strong understanding of storage connectivity and storage networking required Must have leadership qualities, ability to foster a collaborative team approach, and the ability to interact well with front line staff and management Must be able to provide consultation and expert advice on systems related topics Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Experience with backup and disaster recovery concepts and solutions preferred Advanced scripting (PowerShell, shell scripting) knowledge a plus Understanding of routing and switching a plus Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure services, such as IaaS and DRaaS Experience working with global data center environments Excellent communicator, high energy, positive attitude, with an aptitude for professional growth Benefits Comprehensive healthcare plan options Retirement plan with company match Life, other supplemental insurances Paid time off and company holidays New Parent Leave Wellness programs Company Overview 1111 Systems is creating a new model delivering the power of "Everything Connected" in connectivity, cloud, and security solutions.
