Key Responsibilities Perform daily data entry and reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate transaction processing. Coordinate return items with members, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other financial institutions. Assist multiple departments with fraud investigations, member inquiries, and general ledger adjustments. Manage member cases and service tickets, providing timely and courteous resolutions. Adhere to NACHA rules, Federal banking regulations, and internal compliance policies. Process loan payments, multi‑account deposits, credit card statements, and a variety of examinations including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff reviews. Review, approve, and post Remote Deposit Capture, Mobile, ATM, and other image‑enabled transactions. Log, analyze, and post significant GL account changes or reversals. Execute stop‑pay requests and check batch processing. Complete daily balancing and department close procedures. Gather necessary information from members to ensure accurate and timely processing of domestic and international fund transfers. Research and verify inbound and outbound fund transfer data. Communicate with members to facilitate fund transfers, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain confidentiality and security of all member accounts and related data, complying with the Bank Secrecy Act and other relevant statutes. Process returned deposits, review member inquiries on draft changes, and confirm member details for outgoing transfers. Handle daily processing of workflows related to overdue returns, receipt issuance, overseas collections, and prison fees. Essential Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in finance or business is a plus. Technical Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Intermediate Excel abilities are essential for data analysis and reconciliation. Experience Demonstrated ability to work long hours when business needs demand it. Customer Service Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality member support. Analytical Ability Comfortable performing mathematical calculations, analyzing data, and identifying discrepancies. Compliance Awareness Understanding of banking regulations, including NACHA, BSA/AML, and the Bank Secrecy Act. Self‑Motivation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high performance and attendance. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a customer or member service role within a banking or credit union environment. Familiarity with banking software platforms such as Episys or Symitar. Experience processing ACH and wire transfers. Knowledge of credit union operations, loan processing, and member account management.
