The Head of Analysis will be responsible for building and owning the market intelligence offering for the US renewable energy markets, providing critical insights and pricing data to influence client investment decisions. Responsibilities Use your expertise in price reporting or benchmarking to collect and analyze pricing data, keeping US reference prices current and defensible against evolving market conditions Transform market data and research into clear intelligence, delivering pricing conclusions and market insights that clients can use directly Communicate findings effectively through reports and concise market updates, ensuring senior stakeholders and clients can easily understand and act on your insights Expand and maintain your industry network by building relationships with key stakeholders, including PPA and BESS buyers and sellers, in targeted US hubs, while actively participating in major renewable energy events Skills An in-depth understanding of renewable energy, power markets, and BESS in ERCOT and PJM, with experience in additional markets considered an asset Four or more years of proven experience in renewable energy or power market analysis, with a focus on US renewable energy markets and direct exposure to BESS and PPAs Exceptional analytical abilities, with the capacity to distill complex market data into pricing conclusions clients can use directly Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and impactful written analysis A well-established professional network in origination and renewable power trading, with prior exposure to PPA buyers, BESS optimizers, and renewable asset investors Comfortable operating with autonomy in a market where Pexapark's US presence is still growing, with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement A good sense of humor Benefits The opportunity to influence major decisions in the energy sector, supporting the transition to net zero A highly flexible environment with hybrid working options Options for equity participation in our company Company-wide events, including PEXA parties A scale-up culture made up of an internationally diverse team of renewable energy experts and seasoned professionals A company bonus scheme or company incentive plan Company Overview Pexapark provides an energy investment platform that specializes in software and advisory services for renewable energy sales.
