The Professional Services Integrations and Customizations (PSIC) Software Engineer is responsible for creating customized solutions that integrate 8x8’s hosted UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, and AI/ML solutions with customers’ applications. This role involves direct client interaction to implement configurations and integrations based on project requirements. Responsibilities Collect project requirements from customers through remote interviews Implement customized solutions and services based on the SOW utilizing 8x8 products, APIs, and 3rd-party software development tools as required Design and prototyping software development projects as required and be responsible for the quality of work produced Manage the customer’s deployment of 8x8 services and solutions as specified in the SOW Present 8x8 services and customized solutions to customers, including executives and end-users Meet or exceed P&L goals for professional services Configuring systems that we have in 8x8, integration with scripting in PHP and Python Skills Fluent in English (written and oral communication skills) Bachelor's Degree in the technology area Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PHP, and JavaScript Strong API background, Rest API knowledge, integration with 3rd-party systems Relational databases experience Understanding of Cloud platforms and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) Understanding of Web application architecture Experience with conversational AI/ML technologies and natural language processing Professional communication skills, as you will engage directly with customers Java knowledge is a plus Experience in Contact Center, VoIP, and Video meeting applications is a plus Benefits Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock.
