Rhythm Innovations is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Development Representative to sell and service solutions for clients in the insurance and transportation industries. This role focuses on building long-term client relationships and supporting the sales process from lead generation through onboarding and account support. Responsibilities Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing partners and customers Prospect new clients (owner-operators, small fleets, logistics companies) through networking, referrals, and outbound sales Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing trucking fleet clients Educate clients on risk management strategies Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and customer communications Conduct product and service demonstrations for prospects and clients Support senior sales team members in achieving revenue and growth objectives Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM systems Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a positive customer experience Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and company offerings Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals set by the agency company Provide ongoing service including renewals, endorsements, and account updates Skills Must be located in Ft Lauderdale/Miami area 2 to 3+ years of sales, SaaS, or business development experience 1–3+ years of experience in freight brokerage or commercial auto or transportation insurance is a must Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills Ability to build relationships and manage multiple accounts Strong organization and time management skills Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales environment Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with FMCSA/DOT regulations Understanding of commercial auto underwriting Experience with telematics, ELD, dashcam, or fleet safety solutions Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred Experience selling through channel partners or referral partners is preferred Company Overview Rhythm Innovations offers supply chain management software to streamline operations, ensure compliance, and drive sustainability.
