We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our retail team as a supervisor. As a key member of our management team, the Retail Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering an exceptional guest experience (ART!), and driving sales performance. This position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, a passion for retail excellence, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Lead by example and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding guest service
  • Conduct pre-shifts to communicate goals, updates, and performance expectations
  • Ensure a consistently high level of guest service that demonstrates ART! (AREA15's service standards)
  • Train and guide team members on daily operational tasks and standards
  • Collaborate with team to maintain visual brand standards, ensuring displays and product placements reflect AREA15's brand image and provide a best-in-class shopping experience
  • Encourage open communication channels for work-related discussions and constructive feedback
  • Foster an environment where team members uphold a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and respect
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate product availability and timely replenishment
  • Work closely with leadership team to align operational strategies with overall company goals
  • Provide regular updates on team performance, sales trends, and customer feedback
  • Always exhibit the best brand representation by adhering to, promoting the prescribed dress code, and grooming standards
  • Ensure that team members are aware of and consistently adhere to the brand's dress code, reflecting the premium image of the outlet
  • Onboard and train new team members

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a retail leadership role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of fashion, festivals and lifestyle trends.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and visual merchandising principles.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak retail hours.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to commute between office and venue(s).
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
