We want you to apply!<br><br><strong>Job Summary and Qualifications</strong><br><br>Seeking an experienced Mother Baby Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today! <br><br><ul><li>You will be knowledgeable of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition.</li><li>You will perform a head-to-toe assessment on maternal and newborn and reassessments as per policy.</li><li>You will formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.</li><li>You will communicate appropriately and clearly to charge nurse, coworkers and physicians.</li><li>You will consult other departments as appropriate to provide for an interdisciplinary approach to the patient's needs.</li><li>You will coordinate and supervise patient care, as necessary.</li><li>You will demonstrate an ability to assist physicians with procedures in the mother/baby area.</li><li>You will interact professionally with patient/family and involve patient/family in the formation of the plan of care.</li><li>You will maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.</li><li>You will identify and address psychosocial needs of patients and family.</li></ul><br><br><b>Qualifications:</b><br><br><ul><li>Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.</li><li>Current California Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.</li><li>A Registered Nurse who has one (1) year of full-time equivalent or more of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse.</li><li>Basic Cardiac Life Support</li><li>Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date</li><li>CA (RN) Registered Nurse License</li></ul><br><br>Good Samaritan Hospital has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patient's access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
