Job Description Get to Know the Team The Pricing Data Science team creates efficient marketplaces by determining an optimal price that is both sustainable and loved by our partners and consumers.

Get to Know the Role We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build self-optimizing pricing products that can automatically adjust booking/order fares in response to the dynamic market conditions to achieve predetermined goals.

You will report to the Head of Data Science (Pricing) and will be based onsite in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will develop innovative AI/ML/RL/Optimisation models that can automatically adjust booking/order fares in response to dynamic and changing market conditions.
  • You will establish pipelines to automate the model retraining and parameter tuning and serve the model in production.
  • You will build dashboards to monitor the health of our DS solutions and maintain these solutions. This will involve tracking performance, identifying issues, and implementing improvements.
  • You will create technical documents outlining the methodologies and findings of your work. You will present solutions and explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You will participate in design and code reviews, promoting high-standard AI/ML modelling and engineering practices.
Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need
  • You hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Software Engineering.
  • You have solid background in at least two of the following domains: Operation Research, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, Causal Inference.
  • You have 4 years of working experience in tech companies or academic institutions.
  • You are proficient in AI assist coding with Python, Tensorflow/Pytorch, SQL, and Spark etc.
  • You can develop data processing ETL pipelines to support data analysis, model training, and model serving tasks.
  • You are familiar with Version Control Systems such as git, git-flow, and understand the full software development life-cycle.
