HOURLY PAY RATE: $17.75 **You must be between the ages of 14 - 17 as of the program start date

START DATE - 05/26/2026

END DATE - 07/24/2026

**Start/end dates may vary by school district

PROGRAM WORKING HOURS

  • Working hours are Monday - Friday
  • Working hours are not to exceed 8 hours per day
  • Working hours are not to exceed 40 hours per week
We are looking for energetic and conscientious teens that are interested in working this summer in the hospitality industry. Our goal is for you to help us provide excellent service to our guests, while at the same time earning a generous paycheck and hopefully spark interest in a career in the hospitality industry. YOUR TEEN ACADEMY EMPLOYMENT WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
  • Work alongside our Housepersons to clean public areas, bathrooms, trash removal, and restocking of housekeeping carts
  • Work alongside our Maintenance Reps to understand the mechanical operations of the building
  • Work alongside our Laundry Attendants in the laundry facility to understand the process flow of the hotels’ linen
  • Work alongside our F&B Attendants in the breakfast facility to learn about food prep and service
  • Work alongside our Front Desk Agent's to engage in a training of Front Office operations
  • Participate in field trip activities
  • Join in community service activities
  • Complete an essay review of your Teen Academy experience
WORKING CONDITIONS (This job requires the ability to perform the following)
  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Pushing and or pulling approximately 200 pounds
  • Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
  • Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility
  • Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling
