This role sits at the intersection of technology, analytics, and user-centered design, supporting platforms that power marketing, ecommerce, and advanced decision-making capabilities. This is an opportunity to work on complex, large-scale systems that leverage data and emerging technologies to deliver intuitive, high-impact user experiences. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in either AI-powered product design or Ad Tech/Retail Media platforms, along with a strong foundation in simplifying complex workflows into meaningful, user-friendly solutions. Job Description The User Experience Designer will lead end-to-end design efforts for sophisticated digital products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and data science. This role requires translating complex business logic, technical systems, and data insights into clear, intuitive, and engaging user experiences. You will drive design from discovery through delivery, creating scalable patterns and contributing to long-term product vision while supporting immediate delivery needs. A strong emphasis is placed on designing data-rich interfaces, dashboards, and decision-support tools that empower users to act confidently on insights. Key Responsibilities Include • Leading UX design initiatives across complex, ambiguous product areas as a senior individual contributor • Transforming technical, data-heavy, and AI-driven concepts into intuitive workflows and user experiences • Designing dashboards, reporting tools, recommendations, alerts, and other insight-driven interfaces • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using modern tools such as Figma • Leveraging user research, analytics, and business context to inform design decisions and articulate rationale • Collaborating with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions • Developing cohesive product narratives and experience strategies that align with business goals • Balancing near-term deliverables with long-term UX vision and design system evolution Portfolio required – must demonstrate end-to-end product design impact and experience with complex systems. Qualifications Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work • At least 4+ years of experience in one of the following areas • Ad Tech, Retail Media, Marketing Technology, Ecommerce, Analytics, or Measurement platforms OR • AI-powered or AI-enabled product experiences (e.g., recommendation systems, automation workflows, decision-support tools, explainable AI) • Proven experience leading complex product design initiatives from discovery through delivery • Strong ability to simplify complex technical, business, and data concepts into intuitive user experiences • Experience designing data-rich interfaces such as dashboards, reporting tools, and workflow-driven applications • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, including Figma • Demonstrated ability to use research, data, and insights to inform design decisions and influence stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Strong expertise in either AI-driven product design or Ad Tech/Retail Media platforms, with deep experience in at least one domain • Background in one or more of the following areas • Ad Tech or Retail Media product design • AI product design for enterprise software • Analytics, measurement, or decision-support platforms • Marketing technology or ecommerce platforms • Enterprise SaaS products with complex, data-rich workflows • Experience with campaign management, media planning, audience targeting, forecasting, bidding, or optimization workflows • Experience designing explainable AI experiences that build user trust and support informed decision-making • Experience partnering with engineering and data science teams on machine learning, analytics, or optimization initiatives • Strong ability to design and scale data-heavy interfaces such as dashboards, visualization tools, recommendations, and reporting systems • Ability to balance near-term delivery with long-term UX strategy, including scalable design patterns and north-star thinking • Demonstrated growth mindset with a passion for evolving design craft, mentoring others, and advancing UX best practices Benefits Dahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
