Interested in working on an innovative and high-impact business that is changing the way customers think about grocery? Amazon is looking for a talented, smart, and entrepreneurial Vendor Manager (VM) responsible for leading strategic vendor relationships for their business on Amazon Fresh.

This role is an ideal starting point for a dynamic career path at Amazon for an ambitious candidate who is eager to drive a business. Your direct responsibility will be to manage performance of the product portfolio including developing and growing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, expanding product selection, developing marketing programs, driving sales and margin improvements and creating best-in-class customer experiences. This role will provide hands-on experience across all key Amazon Retail functions (Vendor Management, Marketing Management, In Stock Management, Product Management). Successful candidates will have the opportunity to move on to other leadership roles within Amazon.

The ideal candidate possesses experience in buying, marketing, and/or finance, with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams will be essential to your success. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of projects and business problems to a successful result.

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

- 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree

REQUISITOS DESEADOS

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong database and computer skills, SQL
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Experience in process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
