<strong style="font-weight:700;">Job Title: Warehouse Worker</strong><br /><strong>Job Description</strong><p>This role provides heavy industrial warehouse services, including manually receiving trailers at international distribution centers and building pallets of large items such as patio furniture, televisions, and air conditioners. You will work in a fast-paced distribution environment, operate manual or electric pallet jacks, and perform physically demanding tasks that require consistent lifting and careful handling of materials.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Manually receive incoming trailers at international distribution center locations and verify loads against documentation as required.</li><li>Build stable and secure pallets of large items such as patio furniture, televisions, and air conditioners using safe stacking and wrapping practices.</li><li>Handle and move heavy materials throughout the warehouse using manual or electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as assigned.</li><li>Lift, carry, and position items weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift while following proper lifting techniques.</li><li>Organize and stage products in designated warehouse areas to support efficient storage, picking, and shipping operations.</li><li>Read and interpret work orders, labels, and other written instructions to ensure accurate handling and placement of products.</li><li>Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks, report issues, and maintain smooth workflow.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating material handling equipment and performing manual handling tasks.</li><li>Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by removing debris, organizing pallets, and keeping aisles clear.</li><li>Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including loading, unloading, and rearranging inventory.</li></ul><strong>Essential Skills</strong><ul><li>Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.</li><li>Ability to operate manual pallet jacks safely and efficiently.</li><li>Ability to operate electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrated material handling experience, including moving and staging heavy items.</li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.</li><li>Strong reading skills to understand work orders, labels, and written instructions.</li><li>Clear verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.</li><li>Basic writing skills to complete simple documentation or notes as required.</li><li>High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.</li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Previous experience handling large consumer products such as furniture, televisions, or appliances.</li><li>Familiarity with heavy industrial or high-volume distribution center operations.</li><li>Comfort working with material handling equipment in a busy warehouse environment.</li><li>Strong attention to safety and adherence to warehouse procedures and guidelines.</li></ul><strong>Why Work Here?</strong><p>You join a team-focused warehouse environment where your contribution directly supports efficient distribution operations.
