Website Engineer

Location: Remote (EST/CST Preferred)

Position Overvie wOur client is seeking a Website Engineer to support and enhance the organization's web environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of website infrastructure, WordPress administration, integrations, and cybersecurity

.

Working alongside the Website Manager and Marketing Technology team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the technical health of the organization's WordPress environment, implementing enhancements, managing integrations, and ensuring the website remains secure, reliable, and high performin g.

Key Responsibilit ies• Administer, maintain, and enhance the organization's WordPress websi te.

  • Implement website functionality, enhancements, and technical improvemen ts.
  • Manage website integrations with internal and third-party applicatio ns.
  • Support website hosting, DNS, SSL certificates, and Cloudflare servic es.
  • Monitor website performance, uptime, and overall heal th.
  • Apply cybersecurity best practices to protect web infrastructu re.
  • Assist with penetration testing remediation and vulnerability manageme nt.
  • Maintain WordPress plugins, themes, and updat es.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate resolutions across technical tea ms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement new website capabiliti es.
  • Provide technical support for HubSpot and other marketing technology integrations as need ed.

Required Qualificat ions• 5+ years of experience supporting and administering WordPress websi tes.

  • Strong understanding of website infrastructure, hosting, DNS, SSL, and web technolog ies.
  • Experience implementing and supporting website integrati ons.
  • Experience with Cloudflare or similar CDN and web security platfo rms.
  • Knowledge of website security, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practi ces.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical website iss ues.
  • Strong understanding of web architecture and infrastructure conce pts.

Preferred Qualifica tions• Experience supporting HubSpot or another CRM/marketing automation plat form.• Experience with API integrations and web serv ices.• Background in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or Web Platform sup port.• Familiarity with penetration testing remedia tion.• Experience supporting cloud-hosted web environm ents.

This person is comfortable owning the technical aspects of a WordPress environment while partnering with marketing and business teams to support website initiatives and integra tions.
