At B Home Co, we create thoughtfully designed homes that are both beautiful and functional. We're looking for an organized, proactive professional who can support residential design projects while helping keep operations and project workflows running smoothly.

This is more than a drafting role. We're seeking someone who takes ownership, pays attention to details, and enjoys supporting projects from concept through production.

What You'll Do

Design & Production

  • Create and revise residential design drawings and construction documents
  • Produce accurate, professional drawing sets with minimal supervision
  • Implement design revisions and maintain organized project files
  • Support design documentation and production workflows
  • Help maintain consistency across project deliverables

Operations & Project Support

  • Track project details, action items, and deadlines
  • Follow up on missing information to keep projects moving forward
  • Maintain organized project documentation and file systems
  • Assist with workflow management and process improvements
  • Support project coordination and team communication

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as Chief Architect, Autodesk Revit, SketchUp Pro, Archicad, Home Designer Pro, or similar
  • Ability to independently produce residential design and construction drawings
  • Strong understanding of residential construction and design documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently
  • Comfortable asking questions and proactively gathering information
  • Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chief Architect experience is a plus
  • Experience working with residential builders, remodelers, architects, or interior designers
  • Familiarity with JobTread, Buildertrend, or other project management platforms
  • Experience improving workflows, documenting processes, and maintaining project systems
