RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following.

Quality and Operations Management:

  • Inspections of properties prior to check-ins and after check-outs.
  • Property cleaning coordination with an external housekeeping company or freelance cleaners ; continuous training of the cleaners to meet our demanding standards.
  • Co-management of the linen inventory as well as hospitality products: welcome gifts, bathroom amenities, coffee capsules, sponges, etc.
  • Property management coordination with our partner company: pool cleaning, gardening, maintenance interventions, etc. Monitoring and coordination of all short and longer term maintenance work.
  • Recommendations on the optimization of operational processes.
Guest Relationship Management:
  • Coordination of specific preparation needs for the upcoming stays, based on our Property Management System: VIP treatment, birthday cake, etc.
  • Visiting guests and offering them a tailored service.
  • Upsell and coordination of extra services for guests: private transfers, massages, at-home chefs, etc.
  • Promoting cultural activities of the region, preferably genuine and off-the-beaten-path recommendations.
  • Co-management of the relationships with all external providers; we strive to maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Intervention in case of guest emergency: exceptional inability to access the property for example.
Business Development:
  • Representation of the brand in Mallorca.
  • Development of new partnerships with local businesses.
  • Integration of the new signed properties in the portfolio following our thorough property onboarding process, including an inventory creation, the coordination of a photoshoot, and much more.
Depending on the seasonality as well as your bandwidth, skills and interest, you may be involved with other aspects of our operations.

KEY INFORMATION ON THE POSITION

  • Employment to start as soon as possible.
  • Full-time contract (fijo discontinuo)
  • A computer and a professional cell phone will be provided.
  • Access to our office by the harbour in Alcudia.
  • Work days and work hours may vary, we work in hospitality.
  • Vehicle and driving licence required (we pay kilometer allowances).
ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who will thrive in a dynamically changing environment.

The must-haves:

  • You are an entrepreneur at heart: you are not afraid of the unknown and you strive when things are challenging and require creative thinking as well as flexibility: you have a can-do attitude and are not afraid to take ownership.
  • You have at least 2 years of work experience, with a minimum of 1 year in hospitality operations at a premium short-term rentals company or at a 4* or 5* hotel.
  • You love interacting with guests and all types of partners and can naturally establish great relationships with people; your interpersonal and team collaboration skills are excellent.
  • You have strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You are comfortable speaking with HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals).
  • You are good at managing stress and do not get easily overwhelmed.
  • You are detail-oriented, open-minded and positive.
  • You can multitask and work in an independent way.
  • You speak and write English and Spanish perfectly.
The nice-to-haves:
  • You have experience working at a fast-growing company and understand that your responsibilities will evolve quickly as the company grows.
  • You have a strong knowledge of Mallorca and possibly an existing network there.
  • You have a degree in hospitality management.
  • You have experience in managing team members and enjoy it.
