Join a dynamic, growing team that offers healthcare providers an array of medical technology solutions that make a difference in patients' lives.Position Summary REMOTE ROLE- EAST COAST TRAVEL REQUIRED 70%The National Field Sales Trainer will strengthen the field sales team's capabilities through comprehensive training and development initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Training, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that align with the company's strategic objectives to support and improve sales performance. The National Field Sales Trainer will be responsible for providing tailored training to meet the evolving needs of the field and serve as a vital link between sales and marketing, ensuring alignment and consistency across the organization. Principal Responsibilities• Coordinate and facilitate comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales representatives, including workshops, onboarding sessions, and field-based training that cover product knowledge, sales techniques, and CRM usage to support sales performance and growth.• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to deliver and update engaging learning materials that align with business goals, product launches, and market strategies.• Gather and analyze feedback from sales teams and field experiences to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.• Monitor and assess the impact of training programs using sales data, win rates, and key performance indicators (KPIs).• Leverage performance insights to refine training content and address skill gaps for continuous improvement.• Ensure the sales team remains up to date on product features, clinical and product applications, services, and industry trends.• Oversee annual product competencies and assessments to ensure a consistent level of proficiency among the sales team.• Develop leadership skills among the sales team and mentor individual reps for continuous growth.• Manage the Field Sales Trainer (FST) program and establish a field clinical sales trainer program to help reinforce product and sales expertise.• Assist in developing and expanding the customer education strategy in the field to enhance customer knowledge and satisfaction.• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by supporting field teams in delivering exceptional education and engagement.• Assist the sales team in adapting to new tools, processes, or market changes through targeted training.• Stay current on company products and services, best practices, as well as relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information.• Stay current with training technology by attending professional meetings and trainer development events.• Successfully complete all required training and demonstrate an understanding of our products.• Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, marketing operating principles, and all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager.Key Relationships / Interfaces• Vice President of North American Sales • Area Vice Presidents and Sales Directors• Regional Sales Managers and Field Sales Representatives• Vice President of Global Marketing• Global Marketing Directors and Marketing Managers• Clinical Medical Affairs• External VendorsNote 0% of this job involves direct R&D activitiesEducation / Experience Requirements• 5+ years of relevant experience in medical device sales• Minimum of bachelor's degree (BA/BS) (preferred)• Demonstrated leadership, organization, and communication skills• Clinical knowledge of interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, structural heart and/or peripheral vascular (preferred)• Previous experience as a Field Sales Trainer (preferred)• Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel, Word, and PPT; web & email• Demonstrated experience in managing priorities/resources and initiatives• Experience with or willingness to train on ACTO Learning Management System (preferred)Specialized Skills / Other Requirements• Ingenuity and willingness to develop creative solutions to complex problems within the constraints of a regulated industry• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.• Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment from concept through development, including review and timely implementation• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills• Extremely detail oriented• Self-motivated and disciplinedTRAVEL REQUIRED 70%The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $125,000- $165,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
