In this role, you will work alongside Trility consultants and client engineers to implement data ingestion pipelines, develop lakehouse solutions, and support the delivery of governed analytics capabilities.</p> <p>This engagement follows Trility's Coach-and-Contribute model, meaning you'll be actively building production solutions while pairing with client engineers to share best practices and accelerate adoption of Microsoft Fabric.</p> <p>This is a remote W2 or 1099 position.</p> <p><em>At this time, Trility is only able to hire W2 employees who reside in the following states: Alabama, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.</em></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>Your Responsibilities</b><ul> <li>Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines supporting REST APIs, SQL Server sources, and file-based ingestion processes</li> <li>Develop and orchestrate Spark notebooks within Microsoft Fabric</li> <li>Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold lakehouse patterns within OneLake environments</li> <li>Develop ingestion processes that accommodate schema drift and evolving source systems</li> <li>Build, test, and optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability</li> <li>Support the implementation of Direct Lake semantic model solutions and downstream analytics requirements</li> <li>Participate in Azure DevOps CI/CD processes, including Dev/Test/Prod promotion workflows</li> <li>Support metadata, lineage, and governance integrations within the broader data platform</li> <li>Collaborate closely with client engineers through paired development and knowledge-sharing activities</li> <li>Apply data engineering best practices related to testing, monitoring, documentation, and operational support</li> </ul><p><br></p><b>What You Bring</b><ul> <li>5+ years of experience working with Azure Data Services, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse</li> <li>Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience in production environments</li> <li>Strong experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines</li> <li>Experience developing Spark notebooks and data transformation workflows</li> <li>Experience implementing medallion architecture patterns (Bronze, Silver, Gold)</li> <li>Strong SQL skills for data transformation, validation, and performance tuning</li> <li>Experience integrating data from APIs, relational databases, and file-based sources</li> <li>Experience working with Azure DevOps CI/CD processes</li> <li>Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and metadata management concepts</li> <li>Experience working within lakehouse architectures and cloud-based analytics platforms</li> <li>Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and participate in client-facing discussions when needed</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> </ul><p><br></p><b>Preferred Experience</b><ul> <li>Experience with Direct Lake implementations</li> <li>Experience integrating governance platforms such as Alation</li> <li>Experience supporting Power BI semantic models and analytics workloads</li> <li>Experience working within consulting or professional services environments</li> <li>Exposure to Azure OpenAI, Power Apps, or AI-assisted data workflows</li> </ul><p><br></p><p></p> <p><b style="font-size: 14pt">How We Put You First </b></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt">Trility’s culture is built upon the journey, character, and work ethic of our team members.
