Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Online Fitness Coach to join our team at New York City Jobs. This is a remote position where you will provide fitness coaching and personalized workout plans to clients across the United States. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one virtual fitness coaching sessions with clients, ensuring a personalized and effective approach to fitness.
  • Develop customized workout plans tailored to each clients fitness level, goals, and limitations.
  • Track client progress through regular assessments, offering adjustments to fitness plans as necessary.
  • Provide motivation and emotional support to clients, helping them stay focused and committed to their fitness journey.
  • Respond to client queries, offer nutritional advice, and ensure a holistic approach to health and fitness.
  • Maintain clear and organized records of client progress, goals, and feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification in fitness coaching (e.g., ACE, NASM, or equivalent).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for virtual client interaction.
  • Proficient in using online platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) for coaching sessions.
  • In-depth knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and fitness assessments.
  • Ability to design individualized fitness programs for various age groups and fitness levels.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients.
  • Ability to provide both positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
  • Experience with fitness-related technology and apps is a plus.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience as a personal trainer or fitness coach, preferably in an online or remote setting.

  • Experience in creating and adapting workout plans for clients with different needs (e.g., weight loss, muscle gain, injury recovery).

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours, with a requirement to accommodate clients in different time zones.
  • Availability for 20–40 hours per week, depending on client demand and availability.
